                2025 Fantasy Outlook

The Vikings drafted Felton in the third round this spring, 102nd overall, bringing in competition for incumbent No. 3 receiver Jalen Nailor, who scored six touchdowns on just 42 targets last season. The team later traded for Adam Thielen, pushing Felton further down the depth chart, although there may be an opportunity for early snaps due to Nailor's hand injury and Jordan Addison's suspension. There's reason to think Felton can fill in capably if given the chance, considering he exploded for 1,124 receiving yards and nine touchdowns last year in his final season at Maryland. He also stood out at the 2024 Combine, where he finished top six among WRs in the 40-yard dash (4.37), vertical jump (39.5 inches) and broad jump (130 inches). Felton's thin build (6-foot-1, 183) is a concern, but he may have the speed and explosiveness to thrive anyway -- be it during his rookie season or further down the road. Gets first NFL reception
Felton had one reception for nine yards on his only target in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
				ANALYSIS
Felton has been used almost exclusively on special teams and only got 12 snaps on offense late in the game in a blowout win. He has less upside for playing time on offense with the return of Jordan Addison from a suspension next week. Still, he showed promise in training camp and could be a factor if injuries strike the receiving corps.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
    Big early-season role?
With Jordan Addison serving a three-game suspension and Jalen Nailor dealing with a hand injury, Felton could have a prominent role in the Vikings' offense early in the season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
				ANALYSIS
The Vikings fortified their depth at wide receiver by acquiring Adam Thielen from the Panthers on Wednesday. However, with Nailor expected to miss the same amount of time as Addison, Felton appears to be the leading candidate to serve as the Vikings' WR3 behind Thielen and Justin Jefferson for the start of the 2025 regular season. Felton is currently working through arm soreness, but that shouldn't impact his availability for Minnesota's Week 1 contest against Chicago on Monday, Oct. 8.
