Vidal did at least extend his streak of consecutive games with double-digit carries to three contests, and he figures to continue enjoying a relatively robust complementary role in a Week 16 road matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday afternoon.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
A 2024 sixth-round pick, Vidal joins a Chargers backfield with minimal experience beyond ex-Ravens Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins. The rookie out of Troy has traits that should appeal to new Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman, as Vidal was tough to bring down in college and took 297 carries for 1,661 yards and 14 TDs last season alone. He's not especially elusive, but he showed potential in the passing game with at least 18 receptions in each of his four seasons at Troy, and he earned praise from both coaches and scouts for his pass blocking. Vidal's combination of bulk (5-8, 213) and speed (4.46 40) makes him far more interesting for fantasy than a typical sixth-round pick, especially within the context of a Chargers offense that's looking to run the ball more often despite having a shaky group of veteran RBs.
