Wilfried Gnonto
22-Year-Old
Leeds United
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gnonto had to fight for his place in the starting XI last season, losing it for the middle portion before starting the final five. Despite his fall out of the XI, Gnonto still finished the campaign with nine goals and six assists. Heading into the Premier League there's some uncertainty about his role, though he should open preseason with the inside track to start on the right wing. If so, Gnonto has some upside as a fairly experienced 21-year-old who debuted at Leeds United in the Premier League a couple years ago. While he may not start more than 30 matches, he should get a decent amount of run, which could be enough to near 10 goal contributions in 2025/26.
Assists late equalizer as a sub
Gnonto assisted once to go with one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Brentford.
ANALYSIS
Gnonto came onto the pitch with 17 minutes remaining and assisted Dominic Calvert-Lewin for his first goal involvement of the season. The winger has started four matches this season, and this was his fourth game as a substitute this year. This is the first time this season that he has created two chances, and he will aim to emulate his 2022/23 season in the Premier League, where he produced four assists.
