24-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
New York Giants
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hyatt played in 16 games last season, but he tallied just eight catches (on 19 targets) for 62 yards, and his longest reception went for only 19 yards. The good news for Hyatt's chance of a rebound is that New York didn't add to the top of its wideout room during the offseason and should get better QB play with the additions of Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie Jaxson Dart. Hyatt thus seems likely to get another chance to produce, but it will be a make-or-break season for him. Read Past Outlooks

Returns to practice Thursday
WRNew York Giants
October 30, 2025
Hyatt (teeth) logged a full practice session Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
A dental issue caused Hyatt to miss practice Wednesday, but a full session one day later suggests the third-year wideout is doing better. Hyatt was inactive this past Sunday against Philadelphia, though it's not clear if he was a healthy scratch or if his dental issue played a part in that decision. As such, Hyatt's level of playing time -- if he's active at all -- this Sunday against San Francisco could provide more insight about his role on offense moving forward.

2023
As a rookie, Hyatt had two great games. He had 89 yards in Week 2 and 109 yards in Week 12. As a player with excellent speed who can win downfield, those games weren’t a surprise. Otherwise, it should be noted that the Giants used three quarterbacks while also having one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Also, Darius Slayton played a similar role to Hyatt, but Slayton was more consistent. Those factors didn’t help Hyatt. Aside from the big games, the receiver had 10 or fewer yards in 10 games. Based on what we saw last year, projecting Hyatt to be a difference maker in 2024 may be a stretch.
Hyatt landed in an interesting situation when the Giants traded up to take him in the third round of this year's draft. On one hand, New York isn't exactly loaded with blue-chip wideouts -- Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton and Parris Campbell appear to be the team's top options heading into camp. On the other hand, the team already has a young receiver who operates primarily out of the slot (as Hyatt did in college) in 2022 second-rounder Wan'Dale Robinson, and returning veteran Sterling Shepard also can play that role. That said, Hyatt is the most explosive playmaker of the bunch, running a 4.40 40 at 6-0, 176, so the Tennessee product could see plenty of targets as the vertical threat quarterback Daniel Jones sorely lacked last season.

Adds muscle during offseason
WRNew York Giants
June 28, 2025
Hyatt relayed Thursday that he added about 20 pounds of muscle during the offseason as he looks to take a leap in his third NFL season, Coral Smith of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyatt, the Giants' 2023 third-rounder, had a promising rookie season, but he wasn't able to take a step forward during his sophomore campaign, as he finished with just eight catches on 19 targets for 62 yards in 16 regular-season games. His aim for the offseason was to get bigger and stronger while maintaining his speed, and he has worked with coaches during spring practices to be utilized in more spots in the Giants' offensive scheme. Hyatt is looking for a bigger and more consistent role, but he is currently listed as the WR4 on the Giants' depth chart behind Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.
