Manhertz is a prime example of a player whose real-life impact far exceeds his fantasy value. The veteran tight end played in all 17 of New York's games last season and has missed just one contest over the past five campaigns. He's tallied only 23 catches over that span, however, as his role has been limited almost exclusively to blocking. It still seems more likely than not that he'll be able to play Sunday versus San Francisco, though he may enter the weekend with an injury status if he's not able to log a full practice Friday. Manhertz typically works in a blocking role and has just one catch on one target for seven yards through eight games this season.
