2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gordon didn't live up to the expectation he set for himself after tallying 11 goals and 10 assists the prior season. He managed six goals and five assists with a split role on set pieces in 2024/25, but an injury derailed his campaign and he didn't have a goal or assist from February on. When healthy, Gordon has production in him, but with Champions League on the slate this season, there's a chance for more rotation in league play, especially after Harvey Barnes produced in Gordon's absence. Still, this Newcastle attack is potent and anyone in the front three has value in fantasy, especially Gordon with set pieces.
Nets first-half super hat trick
Gordon scored four goals to go with six shots (six on goal) and two chances created in Wednesday's 6-1 win versus Qarabag.
ANALYSIS
Gordon produced his best attacking display of the season, scoring a first-half super hat trick that featured two penalties. His relentless runs and pressing tormented the Qarabag defense, and he might have had even more after missing two additional big chances. Gordon continues to excel since moving to centre forward role, marking his third straight start there. In that span, he has produced 13 shots and registered five goals and one assist, contributing in every match.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Linked with Arsenal move
Gordon is being linked with a move to Arsenal, according to Sky Sports.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal are likely to make an approach to sign Gordon in the summer, as he'd solve the issue the team has on the left side of the attack. However, other clubs are also expected to make a move for the winger, who could be open to leaving St. James' Park. Gordon still has four years left in his contract with the Magpies, so signing him won't be easy.
