Iker Fimbres Injury: Unlikely to return in Apertura

Fimbres (undisclosed) could miss the remainder of the Apertura 2025 regular season and possibly the playoff rounds, Sergio Trevino of Fox Sports reports.

Fimbres has played only 45 minutes since rejoining his club after the U20 World Cup, as he continues to struggle with the issue. The young midfielder produced four shots (one on goal), six chances created and four tackles (three won) over 269 minutes of league play before getting hurt. His absence forces Rayados to rely on Jorge Agustin Rodriguez and Fidel Ambriz (knee) for ball recovery and distribution in upcoming games.
