Arthur Avom Injury: Earns AFCON call up

Avom was called up by Cameroon for AFCON, and will be away from Lorient for at least a few weeks.

Avom has been a stalwart in the center of the park, with limited upside offensively but a stable role in almost every single match. Avom will likely miss at least one match, and if Cameroon make a deep run in the bracket, Avom could miss more. Dermane Karim could take on a larger starting role while Avom is away from the team.
