Aissa Mandi Injury: Heading out for AFCON

Mandi has been called up by Algeria for the AFCON starting Dec. 21 and ending Jan. 18, according to Actu Foot Afrique.

Mandi was called by Algeria for the AFCON and will miss all the games until at least the clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Jan. 16. The center-back has been an undisputed starter for Lille this season, therefore his absence will force a change in the starting XI, with Nathan Ngoy getting a larger role in the backline while he is out, although Thomas Meunier could also play in a more central role, leaving the right side of the defense to Tiago Santos.
