                2025 Fantasy Outlook

After setting a career high in 2023-24 with 57 goals due to a stellar 24.5 shooting percentage, Reinhart regressed in 2024-25, but not by much. He supplied 39 goals and 81 points across 79 regular-season appearances. Those numbers included a drop in his shooting percentage to 18.3, which is roughly in line with his average of 18.7 over the past five seasons, so it's a rate that seems sustainable. With that in mind, expect another campaign of 35-45 markers and 75-85 points this year. Reinhart is also a fantastic two-way player -- he finished second in Selke voting for 2024-25 -- but that doesn't manifest in ways that give him significant fantasy versatility. He's never recorded more than 31 PIM or 103 hits in a single season, and his career faceoff average is 43.3, so draft him for his offense without expectations of getting much else. Forces overtime Tuesday
Reinhart scored a goal on nine shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks.
				  ANALYSIS
Reinhart got a piece of a Seth Jones shot at 16:54 of the third period to tie the game at 2-2. Reinhart appears to be heating up with goals in three straight games, and his nine shots Tuesday were a season high. The 29-year-old has five tallies, one assist, 35 shots on net, 14 hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 11 appearances. He's shooting just 14.3 percent so far. However, he has been above 17 percent in four of the previous five seasons, so he could still improve from here.

A week after lifting Lord Stanley's cup, Reinhart cashed in big time with an eight-year, $69 million contract extension that will tie him to the Panthers through the 2031-32 campaign. The two-way winger certainly earned his new deal on the heels of a career year in which he set personal bests with 57 goals, 94 points and 34 power-play points. Considering the 28-year-old British Columbia native's shooting percentage was up at 24.5 percent last season, fantasy managers should probably expect him to regress back to closer to 40 goals during 2024-25. That certainly will keep him at the elite level when it comes to fantasy production - especially with Reinhart being firmly cemented on the first line and No. 1 power-play unit.

				  ANALYSIS
Reinhart's postseason was spectacular, as he produced 11 goals and 23 points over 21 appearances. He missed two games due to the injury, which was only labeled lower-body at the time, but he was able to play through it in the end, earning seven goals and five assists over his last seven playoff outings.
