                2025 Fantasy Outlook

With the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, San Jose took Misa, who has the potential to become one of the league's best two-way centers. He completely dominated the OHL last year, scoring 62 goals and 134 points across 65 regular-season appearances with Saginaw while also recording 45 PIM. The Sharks haven't transitioned from rebuild to competitive, so there should be a spot available for Misa on the Opening Night roster, though the 18-year-old might be eased in by initially serving on the third line with some power-play ice time. A 40-50 point rookie season isn't out of the realm of possibility for Misa, but his best is likely still a couple of years away. Gets first NHL goal
Misa scored a goal and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Wild.
				  ANALYSIS
Misa has gotten on the scoresheet in each of his last three appearances, earning a goal and two assists. Through five outings overall, he has produced four shots on net, three blocked shots and two hits. Misa has been sheltered from playing in back-to-back sets and is averaging 12:22 of ice time so far in a third-line role with power-play time. The Sharks play four times in six days between Tuesday and Sunday, so Misa will likely suit up in no more than three of those contests.
