                2025 Fantasy Outlook

Kadri potted a career-high 35 goals and posted a team-leading 67 points across 82 games during the 2024-25 regular season. He also led the Flames with 279 shots on goal and ranked second on the team with 22 power-play points. Kadri has been a dependable source of points on a team that has struggled offensively over the last two campaigns, as he’s recorded at least 29 goals in each of the last two seasons. The 34-year-old hasn’t missed a regular-season game over his three years in Calgary, and his shooting percentage with the club has been 10.7, which is nearly in line with his career average of 11.1. He will likely be the focal point of Calgary’s offense in 2025-26, and another 60-70-point performance should be well within his range. Kadri is at three goals, nine points, 36 shots on net, eight PIM and a minus-7 rating across 12 outings this season, though he maintains a top-line role and a spot on the first power-play unit.

Kadri led the Flames with 46 assists and 75 points in 82 games during his second season with the organization. It was a significant improvement from his 56-point display in 2022-23. Kadri spent most of the 2023-24 campaign playing alongside inexperienced players like Martin Pospisil, Connor Zary and Andrei Kuzmenko. The 33-year-old Kadri embraced his new role as a mentor while making all of his linemates better in the process. Assuming he isn't dealt elsewhere, he will be relied upon to lead Calgary offensively again this season. For fantasy managers, Kadri is an intriguing value target for center depth later in drafts.

				  On trade market?
Kadri is being shopped on the trade market, according to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period on Friday.
				  ANALYSIS
Kadri had 29 goals and 75 points in 82 contests last season. While it was a great campaign for him, the Flames failed to make the playoffs for the second straight year and don't seem to be prioritizing the 2024-25 campaign after trading defenseman Andrew Mangiapane to Washington on Thursday in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick. With an eye towards the future, dealing Kadri might make sense for Calgary, and while the 33-year-old does have a no-movement clause, he might be willing to waive it to go to a contender. Kadri has five seasons remaining on his seven-year, $49 million contract.
