2026 Fantasy Outlook
A 2024 sixth-round pick, Flournoy is a small-school product (Southeast Missouri State) and late bloomer who turned 25 during his rookie season. He didn't play much during that initial campaign, nor in Weeks 1-2 of 2025, only taking on a larger role after CeeDee Lamb suffered an ankle injury in Week 3. Flournoy put up 124 yards against the Jets a few weeks later, showing enough to stick on as the No. 3 WR once Lamb returned in Week 7. The new role didn't amount to much at first -- six targets over the next five games -- but Flournoy came on strong over his final five games with a 23-275-2 receiving line (30 targets), boosted by his 9-115-1 effort in Week 14 when Lamb made an early exit at Detroit. Lamb and George Pickens are back as Prescott's primary targets in a perennially pass-heavy offense, with TE Jake Ferguson and RB Javonte Williams also locked into starting jobs. The situation may keep Flournoy south of a handful of targets per game, but he's shown both the necessary athleticism (4.44 40, 39.5-inch vertical) and chemistry with Prescott (71.4 percent catch rate) to take on a much larger workload if things go sour with Pickens' contract situation or Lamb's health. Impresses during spring work
Coach Brian Schottenheimer singled out Flournoy as someone who stood out during spring practices, Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
"You saw him take that step, I'd say in the middle of the season last year and he came back, man, with just a really strong intent for what he wanted to get done," Schottenheimer said. "He looks great. He's moving great. His routes, I think have gotten better. Here's a guy from a small school that's come in and really adapted to the way we teach route breaks and releases and speed terms and power cuts and things like that. I really think the sky's the limit for him and he's definitely a guy we see finding ways to get him the ball." Flournoy is locked into the Cowboys' third receiver spot behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, and he's one of the best bench stashes at the wideout spot in fantasy. If either Lamb or Pickens were to get injured, Flournoy would assume an every-down role in a high-octane passing attack. With Lamb out for three games last regular season, Flournoy produced one of his two 100-yard receiving games and was targeted 17 times across those three contests.

Selected in the sixth round of the 2024 Draft, Flournoy didn't get into the lineup until Week 5 and didn't start seeing significant snaps on offense until Week 11, with eight of his 10 catches on the season coming from that point on. A raw project when he was drafted, the Southeast Missouri State product has the athleticism to eventually develop into an NFL-caliber wideout, and the Cowboys have the depth at the position to avoid rushing him.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Raises expectations this offseason
Flournoy has made a strong impression this spring while often working out of the slot, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Flournoy already set some elevated expectations with his play in 2025, when he broke out for a career-best 40-475-4 line on 56 targets across 16 regular-season games. The third-year pro has apparently looked ready to build on those numbers in 2026, as Archer notes Flournoy has attacked the ball aggressively this offseason and drawn the praise of head coach Brian Schottenheimer for how far he's come. "Now he's one of those guys -- because he does everything right -- Dak [Prescott] doesn't hesitate when he looks at him. He just turns it loose. He gets to his spot," Schottenheimer said.
