On talent alone, Green was considered a first-round talent in the 2025 NFL Draft. Off-field concerns took him off some teams' boards and sent him sliding into the second round. After doing their due diligence, the Ravens decided to take the plunge on the talented edge rusher out of Marshall, who registered 17.0 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss in 2024. The Ravens aren't known for taking on players with questionable football character, but Green (6-foot-3, 251 pounds) did not fall to Round 2 for talent reasons. Green is a clear first-round talent who dominated at Marshall, producing 17.0 sacks and 22.5 total tackles for loss in 2024.
