Bullard came into the league as a tweener, as his profile wasn't a perfect fit at either slot corner or a traditional safety. His rookie season usage reflected that. He played 755 defensive snaps, a near full workload, yet didn't call one position home. Bullard played primarily in the slot, but also as a free safety and even sometimes in the box. That leaves him as an interesting player to project for 2025. He's left without a clear home, though the departure of Jaire Alexander could cause the Packers to shift Nate Hobbs from the slot to wide corner, thus once again opening the nickel role for Bullard. Even if his situation isn't clear entering the regular season, Bullard should find the field plenty as a versatile member of Green Bay's secondary. Makes six stops in Week 8 win
Bullard recorded six tackles (three solo) and one fumble recovery during Sunday's win over the Steelers.
				ANALYSIS
Bullard has now recorded six or more total tackles in three straight games since Green Bay's bye in Week 5, and he's played at least 80 percent of defensive snaps in back-to-back contests. The 2024 second-round pick has 41 tackles (25 solo) and one fumble recovery across seven regular-season appearances so far, and he'll get a chance to build on those totals Week 9 at home against the Panthers.

The Packers entered the draft with an opening at the starting safety spot alongside marquee addition Xavier McKinney, and they filled it with Bullard, who like McKinney is an SEC defensive back that can handle man coverage. The rookie made a fair share of plays for Georgia the last couple years, and he's going to get plenty of opportunities to do the same in his first season as a professional.

Gets taste of nickel corner role
Bullard played primarily strong safety in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns but also got an opportunity as the nickel cornerback, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.
				ANALYSIS
Bullard and fellow rookie Evan Williams are vying for the starting strong safety role, but Bullard may have another path to playing time in nickel packages. If the Packers want both Bullard and Williams on the field at the same time, the former could slide to the nickel cornerback role. Such a formation could be useful when Green Bay is trying to cover three-receiver sets but still stay stout against the run, as Bullard is probably a better tackler than return specialist Keisean Nixon, whom Green Bay utilized as the nickel cornerback last season after injuries decimated the team's cornerback depth.
