Injuries have been the story of Overshown's career so far. After missing his entire draft year in 2023 due to a torn ACL in his left knee, he blew out his right knee in Week 14 last season and will likely remain sidelined to begin the 2025 campaign. Overshown has flashed elite upside and athleticism, though, collecting 90 total tackles, including 5.0 sacks, in only 13 games. New defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus has a track record of turning players like Overshown into IDP monsters, but first the 24-year-old will need to prove he can stay on the field. The third-year linebacker continues to rehab from torn a ACL, MCL and PCL that he sustained in December and has spent the first half of the 2025 regular season on the reserve/PUP list. His 21-day practice window opened Oct. 22, and he would likely have to log full practices before being activated from the reserve/PUP list.

Fully recovered heading into training camp, the Texas product has strong coverage skills and can fly to the ball, but he'll compete with 2024 third-round pick Marist Liufau for a starting spot at linebacker alongside Eric Kendricks and Damone Clark.
