The 26-year-old edge rusher appeared in nine regular-season games for the Falcons last season, operating primarily on special teams, before he was placed on injured reserve in November. 2022 Fantasy Outlook

Malone was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 82nd overall. He was productive (60 tackles for loss, 34 sacks and nine forced fumbles across 62 games) as an EDGE defender at Western Kentucky, but he's likely too small (6-foot-3, 243) to be a staple along Atlanta's defensive line, so he projects to be more of a pass-rush specialist at the NFL level. With little competition ahead of him and the Falcons in the middle of a rebuild, it wouldn't be surprising to see him have a major role as a rookie.
