Vandeross is heading into the 2025 season as the Rockets' top pass catcher, with a lot of room for growth. Vandeross was first in catches (85), second in receiving yards (957) and third in receiving touchdowns (five) in the 2024 campaign. This was still very dominant for a junior coming off a mild sophomore season. However, this year, he's the only pass catcher left who was top three in any of those categories, which should prime him for a potential increase across the board, or to stay afloat at the very least. Vandeross didn't find pay dirt consistently, but wide receiver Jerjuan Newton (11 touchdowns) and tight end Anthony Torres (nine touchdowns) have both moved on to the NFL, which could pave the way for Vandeross to do so a few more times in 2025. That said, his 5-foot-8, 182-pound stature doesn't lend itself to being a sizable red-zone threat. Quarterback Tucker Gleason will be back for his fifth collegiate season, and the pair has already established a connection on the field. Everything is trending up for Vandeross to potentially post his best season to date in his final collegiate go-around.
