Katin Houser News: Out for bowl, to enter portal

Houser has opted out of the Military Bowl and is expected to enter the NCAA's transfer portal, Brian Bailey of WNCT-TV reports.

Houser out for the Military Bowl means East Carolina will have to select someone new under center to start against Pittsburgh on Dec. 27. As for the aforementioned quarterback, he has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining. Looking to maximize it, Houser will look to use the portal to his advantage and join a more well-known football program.
