2026 Fantasy Outlook
Glasnow was a highly effective starter during his second season with the Dodgers in 2025 with a 3.19 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 10.6 K/9, but injuries continue to define his career as he was limited to 18 regular-season starts. The right-hander went down with shoulder inflammation in April and was sidelined over two months, and he finished the regular season with only 90.1 innings after topping 120 frames in each of the previous two years. Glasnow was healthy for the playoffs and encouragingly made six appearances during Los Angeles' World Series run, bringing his full 2025 workload up to 111.2 innings. Glasnow continues to be one of the better starting pitchers in baseball when it comes to strikeouts and has a 3.24 ERA across the past five seasons, but fantasy managers simply can't depend on him for significant volume. Now entering his age-32 campaign, Glasnow should be expected to make around 20 starts with a mid-3.00 ERA in 2026 but carries risk of missing more time. Read Past Outlooks
Strikes out seven in win Friday
Glasnow (2-0) earned the win Friday against the Rockies, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts across seven innings.
Analysis
Glasnow surrendered a leadoff double to Mickey Moniak in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Moniak came around to score on a groundout for the Rockies' only run of the night. It was a big rebound outing for Glasnow after he served up a couple homers and four runs to the Rangers his last time out. Glasnow has gone at least six innings in all four starts and has three quality starts under his belt. The right-hander now owns a 3.24 ERA and 29:6 K:BB across 25 innings. The Dodgers are using a six-man rotation, so Glasnow's next start is lined up for Thursday against the Giants in San Francisco.

Glasnow was traded from the Rays to the Dodgers in December of 2023 and quickly signed an extension with his new team. The right-hander has been well established as an effective but injury-prone pitcher, and he lived up to those labels for better and worse during his first year in Los Angeles. Glasnow made a career-high 22 starts for the Dodgers and had a 3.49 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 168:35 K:BB across 134 innings, and he missed the final six weeks of the regular season due to elbow tendinitis. He said the injury was fully healed in late October, so he could have a relatively normal offseason. Glasnow has been able to set new career highs for his workload in each of the past two seasons, but even if that continues, he shouldn't be expected to make more than 25 starts given the consistent injury history.
