Rest-of-Season Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Haggerty caught on with the Rangers on a minor-league deal in February after spending the five prior seasons with the Mariners. He ended up playing in 64 major-league games and posted a .253/.328/.370 slash line with 12 steals (on 16 attempts), 31 runs, two home runs and 13 RBI over 181 plate appearances. Haggerty will likely open the 2026 season in the minors, but if he's called up by the parent club, he would provide some fantasy value for his baserunning in deep roto leagues. Read Past Outlooks
Logs first steal
Haggerty entered Friday's game as a pinch runner, stole a base and scored a run in an 8-7 loss to the Dodgers.
Analysis
Haggerty scored Texas' game-tying run in the ninth inning to erase a 7-4 deficit it faced to start the frame. He remained in the game to play left field, which had earlier been vacated when Wyatt Langford left with a quad injury. Ezequiel Duran initially replaced Langford, who will undergo imaging to determine the severity of his injury. Pending the results of Langford's test, there may be a need for a fill-in like the switch-hitting Haggerty. In limited playing time in 2025, he stole 12 bases over 64 games.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2021
Haggerty was a key cog for the Seattle bench in 2022 while posting a .738 OPS and playing all over the field, but he struggled in his limited action to begin the 2023 campaign with a .190/.292/.238 slash before being demoted to Tacoma. He was much more effective after a promotion in August, however, as he registered an .852 OPS while earning regular playing time in September. The 29-year-old doesn't possess much power and he has never hit above .256 in a season, but he does show a solid approach at the plate and he's stolen 23 bags over the last two seasons despite playing in just 135 games in that timeframe. Haggerty will likely be a bench option for Seattle to open 2024, and he isn't likely to see enough playing time to be considered for a roster spot in fantasy leagues.
