Nolan Jones

Jones' 2024 season was a massive step backward from his 20-20 rookie campaign. He landed on the injured list in late April due to a low-back strain and his rehab was halted due to right knee soreness, which pushed his return back to June. The lower back forced a second IL stint in July. It's rather difficult to imagine that particular issue didn't play a part in Jones going homerless in his final 30 games down the stretch. The fact that he had a .931 OPS as recently as 2023 should be enough to keep Jones on your radar, and his home ballpark being the most hitter-friendly park in MLB helps his case in a major way. The injury question marks are prevalent after what was essentially a lost season and a strikeout rate of 30 percent must also factor into the equation. Read Past Outlooks
