2026 Fantasy Outlook
Jones' production took a hit during the 2025 campaign after she missed an extended period before the All-Star break due to a right ankle injury. The 2021 WNBA MVP appeared in 31 regular-season outings, averaging 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.1 blocks while shooting 42.4 percent from beyond the arc in 26.8 minutes per contest. She underwent a minor procedure in October to correct instability in her right ankle and has spent the offseason recovering ahead of unrestricted free agency. While free to sign with anybody, the expectation is that the veteran center will return to New York with Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart. Jones is still capable of delivering elite fantasy value, finishing inside the top-10 players in 2024. She figures to be an early-to-mid-round target in fantasy drafts ahead of the 2026 campaign. 2022
Jones' production declined slightly during her first season with the Liberty in 2023, but she improved in 2024, averaging 14.2 points and 9.0 rebounds to go with a career-high 3.2 assists per game during the regular season, and she was named the WNBA Finals MVP after averaging 17.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in 36.6 minutes per game during the five-game series against the Lynx as New York took home its first championship. Leonie Fiebich emerged as a stronger contributor for the Liberty last season, but Jones proved in 2024 that she's still capable of providing elite fantasy production, even while playing alongside Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.
