2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kadri potted a career-high 35 goals and posted a team-leading 67 points across 82 games during the 2024-25 regular season. He also led the Flames with 279 shots on goal and ranked second on the team with 22 power-play points. Kadri has been a dependable source of points on a team that has struggled offensively over the last two campaigns, as he’s recorded at least 29 goals in each of the last two seasons. The 34-year-old hasn’t missed a regular-season game over his three years in Calgary, and his shooting percentage with the club has been 10.7, which is nearly in line with his career average of 11.1. He will likely be the focal point of Calgary’s offense in 2025-26, and another 60-70-point performance should be well within his range. Read Past Outlooks
Plucks apple Tuesday
Kadri logged an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings in Game 2.
ANALYSIS
Kadri missed the last five games of the regular season due to a broken finger. The 35-year-old center is filling a third-line role to begin the playoffs, though he could shuffle up to the top six if the Avalanche run into adversity or injury troubles. Between Calgary and Colorado in the regular season, he produced 50 points, 213 shots on net and a minus-30 rating over 77 appearances. Kadri is a veteran of seven previous postseason runs, in which he collected 19 goals and 44 points over 52 appearances, including 15 points over 16 contests when the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup in 2022.

Kadri led the Flames with 46 assists and 75 points in 82 games during his second season with the organization. It was a significant improvement from his 56-point display in 2022-23. Kadri spent most of the 2023-24 campaign playing alongside inexperienced players like Martin Pospisil, Connor Zary and Andrei Kuzmenko. The 33-year-old Kadri embraced his new role as a mentor while making all of his linemates better in the process. Assuming he isn't dealt elsewhere, he will be relied upon to lead Calgary offensively again this season. For fantasy managers, Kadri is an intriguing value target for center depth later in drafts.

Returning to Mile High City
Kadri is being traded to Colorado from Calgary on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
ANALYSIS
Kadri spent three seasons with the Avs, racking up 58 goals and 97 helpers in 178 regular-season games. The veteran forward won the Stanley Cup with the team back in 2022, so both sides will likely be hoping for a repeat this time around. With the Avs, Kadri could be in line for a third-line role or shift to the wing.
