After setting career highs in 2023-24 with 22 goals and 35 points across 82 appearances with Chicago, Dickinson took a step back last year, finishing with seven goals and 16 points in 59 outings. Injuries played a role in that decline, but that's a big backslide even if you just look at it from the perspective of points per game. There is room for him to do somewhat better in 2025-26, but the 30-year-old is a defensive center and is unlikely to ever hit the 20-goal mark again after averaging 11 tallies per 82 games since the start of his NHL career. Dickinson was a decent source of depth offense in his second season with the Blackhawks in 2023-24, picking up 22 goals, 35 points, 126 shots and 143 hits while appearing in all 82 regular-season contests. However, the 28-year-old pivot only managed nine goals and 30 points in a similar role for Chicago in 2022-23, so it wouldn't be surprising to see his goal total dip significantly in 2024-25, particularly because he's rarely used on the power play. The regression risk is further highlighted by his 17.5 shooting percentage last year, by far the highest of his career. That means Dickinson should remain undrafted in the majority of fantasy formats.
