2026 Fantasy Outlook
Glover failed to accomplish much in the decade that followed his win at the 2009 U.S. Open, but to his credit, he really turned up his game when he neared the age of 40. Over the past five seasons, he's managed to maintain a fairly high level of production, even as he nears the age which he'd be eligible for the Champions Tour. His numbers from this past season were among the best in his career, with five top-10s and over $4 million in earnings. All of that is great, good for Glover, but his track record after a better than expected season is not great. In the season in that followed his best on the PGA Tour, 2023, he failed to crack $2 million in earnings, and that wasn't the first time he came back down to Earth after a great season. That and his advancing age make it nearly impossible to take him in a salary cap format this season. He still has value in other formats, but not nearly as much as he did this past year. Fails to hold 54-lead at ISCO
Glover recorded a one-over 71 in the final round of the ISCO Championship to finish tied with Kris Ventura and Davis Chatfield for fifth.
ANALYSIS
Glover was dominant through the first two days of the tournament, carding rounds of 63-64 without registering a birdie. He entered Sunday atop the leaderboard at 15-under, but he could not get anything going during his final round, ending the day with four birdies and five bogeys. It was a disappointing finish for Glover, who was looking for his seventh career PGA Tour win and first since the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship. He led the field in GIR and finished second in SG: Approach, T9 in birdies, 13th in SG: Around and T17 in driving accuracy. However, he also ranked 59th out of the 67 players who made the cut in SG: Putting, losing 1.62 strokes. Glover has back-to-back top-5 finishes and is 85th in the FedExCup Standings, and he needs more strong performances to crack the top-70 for a playoff spot. He'll take at least one week off, as he's not listed in the field for The Open Championship nor the Corales Puntacana Championship.

In late 2023, Glover was the talk of the golf world. At the age of 44, suddenly someone learned how to putt. Glover parlayed his magical run into two victories and over $6 million in earnings. Though he was a major winner earlier in his career, he never quite panned out like many thought he would, often straddling the top-125 line. It was no surprise then that he came back down to Earth in 2024. To Glover's credit, however, he didn't completely disappear this past year, he just simply played like he had for the better part of the past 15 years. Now in his mid-40s, there's no reason to think that Glover is going to go on another run like he did in 2023 and as such, he makes for a poor salary cap selection for the upcoming season.
