Pushing for starting job
Benson has worked his way into a competition with Jaylon Moore for Kansas City's starting job at right tackle, Nate Taylor of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Benson went undrafted out of Indiana, but he's already shown enough in the offseason that Kansas City was willing to trade away valuable offensive line depth in Wanya Morris, who was dealt to Atlanta. Moore's experience still makes him the favorite to win the starting job for Week 1, especially with Patrick Mahomes recovering from knee surgery, but Benson is building a case to take over the position at some point.
