Ashraful was selected by the Chittagong Vikings in the BPL after completing his five-year ban for match fixing, ESPN Cric Info reports.

ANALYSIS
Ashraful admitted in June 2013 that he engaged in fixing during that year's edition of the tournament and was originally banned eight years from international cricket and the BPL before having his ban reduced to five years on appeal. The 34-year-old has 261 international caps to his name, with none since May 2013 and has worked himself into form by playing domestic cricket for a variety of teams including a stretch of three-consecutive List A centuries for Kalabagan KC in the spring during the Dhaka Premier League.
