Latest Fantasy Rumors
Nuggets want him back
The Nuggets are looking to re-sign Jones in free agency, according to executive VP of player personnel Jon Wallace, per Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette. "Spencer's done himself a lot of good, a lot of favors this past year, specifically how he stepped in, defended, made shots," Wallace said. "He was just a big part of what we did, but we feel confident. He's a homegrown guy. You want to reward those guys with them sticking to the plan and really developing themselves. We feel confident where we are."
ANALYSIS
Jones experienced a bigger role in the 2025-26 season compared to his rookie year in 2024-25. He went from averaging 1.3 points and 0.9 rebounds across 6.3 minutes per game in 20 regular-season appearances as a rookie to averaging 22.1 minutes and contributing 5.5 points and 3.3 boards per contest in 64 regular-season contests, including 37 starts. If he stays in Denver, and Wallace's comments certainly indicate that'll be the case, he should continue to have a steady role with the second unit.
