2025 Fantasy Outlook
Alexander-Walker's third year in Minnesota was a major success. He appeared in all 82 regular-season games for the second consecutive year, posting averages of 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in a career-high 25.3 minutes per game. He essentially shared the sixth man duties with Donte DiVincenzo, and he managed to sneak inside the top-150 for standard nine-category leagues. Highly sought after in free agency by multiple teams, including the Timberwolves, Alexander-Walker signed a four-year, $62 million contract with the Hawks as part of a sign-and-trade. The Hawks no longer have Caris LeVert, and their new addition, Luke Kennard, figures to play a minor role in the rotation. Alexander-Walker is set up to be the sixth man in Atlanta behind Trae Young and Dyson Daniels in the backcourt, filling in at both spots. Young and Daniels are both high-workload players, however, and it's fair to question if Alexander-Walker will have the same path to fantasy value that he did in Minnesota. Read Past Outlooks

Alexander-Walker averaged a career-high 23.4 minutes per game during the 2023-24 season, playing in all 82 regular-season games. Despite finishing outside the top 200 in standard leagues with averages of just 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.6 three-pointers, Alexander-Walker's impact was clear for all to see. He shot a career-best 39.1 percent from the perimeter, something he will need to continue to develop to ensure his role is safe, especially after the addition of Donte DiVincenzo. Now a legitimate title threat, the Timberwolves will need their second unit clicking on all cylinders. Alexander-Walker is slated to play a similar role again this upcoming season, limiting his value to slightly deeper formats. However, he is someone to keep an eye on in standard leagues, especially if Mike Conley or Anthony Edwards gets injured.
