2024 Fantasy Outlook
Champagnie carved a decent role in the Spurs rotation during the 2023-24 season and made a career-high 59 starts across 74 regular-season contests. However, his numbers were lower compared to the ones he posted as a rookie in 2022-23. Champagnie averaged just 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 19.8 minutes per game last season, and while he could earn a bigger role with the Spurs in 2024-25, he's not expected to be a significant contributor. At best, Champagnie could be a streaming option in deep leagues, but only if he cracks the Spurs' rotation, which is far from being a reality given the team's young depth and current rebuilding process. Fantasy managers would be wise to avoid him outside of the very deep formats, and even in the latter scenario, his upside will be fairly low.
