2025 Fantasy Outlook
Allen's workload and usage took a significant hit last season as Evan Mobley stepped into a larger role. Efficiency wasn't an issue, though, as Allen led the league with a 70.6 field-goal percentage. Still, that could only make up so much for relatively modest averages of 13.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 28.0 minutes. That slight downward trend could continue again this season, with no major roster changes for Cleveland and more presumptive development from Mobley, who probably is best playing center. From a fantasy perspective, Allen is grouped together with a variety of other centers who provide a high floor, with efficient double-doubles. In two-center formats, he should probably be drafted around the 50-60 range, but managers in one-center leagues can probably opt more for 60-70. Read Past Outlooks
Massive double-double in Game 7 win
Allen amassed 22 points (7-11 FG, 8-14 FT), 19 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 114-102 Game 7 win over the Raptors in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Allen had easily his best performance of the first round, dropping a series-high 22 points. The big man tied the team high in scoring despite leaving points on the table at the charity stripe. Allen's 19 rebounds were also a series- and game-best mark. Additionally, he made his presence felt on the defensive end with a game-high five combined steals-plus-blocks. He'll aim to carry that momentum into the Eastern Conference Semifinals against Detroit.

Allen is coming off arguably the best season of his career, where he set new career highs with 16.5 points and 2.7 assists per game. He also averaged 10.5 rebounds, which stands as the second-best mark of his career, and he maintained his streak of averaging at least 1.0 blocks per game in every season of his career. Additionally, 2023-24 was the fifth consecutive season that Allen shot better than 61.0 percent from the field. Unfortunately, he was not able to fully enjoy a hard-earned playoff run, as he was sidelined mid-way through the first round and remained out as his squad battled their way into the second round, where they lost to the eventual champions. In 81 games played between the regular season and playoffs, Allen reached the 20-point mark on 23 occasions, including two with at least 30, and a season-high of 33 points. He had at least 10 rebounds in 47 outings, including 13 games with at least 15 rebounds and a season-high 23 boards during a three-point win over Dallas on Dec. 27. He also had a whopping 44 double-doubles on the year. After signing a three-year extension this offseason, Allen heads into his fifth season as a member of the Cavaliers, maintaining a firm role as the team's starting center and defensive anchor. He is likely to continue to thrive on both ends of the floor and could find the opportunity to push for further career highs in at least a couple of categories.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Pacers wanted him
The Pacers expressed interest in trading for Allen before the Feb. 5 deadline, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
ANALYSIS
The Pacers were keen on adding a long-term answer at center before the deadline and accomplished that goal by acquiring Ivica Zubac from the Clippers. However, Allen was one of the other options they considered as suitable for that role. It's unclear what happened between the Pacers and Cavaliers in the discussions of an Allen-centered trade, but if there were talks between both teams, they didn't progress.
