2025 Fantasy Outlook
DiVincenzo has bounced around the NBA quite a bit in recent years, but he's set to return to Minnesota for his second straight campaign and some much-needed continuity. He was limited to 62 regular-season appearances in 2024-25, and he turned that into an 11th-round valuation in nine-category leagues on a per-game basis. He averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.8 three-pointers in 25.9 minutes while operating as Minnesota's sixth man. Minnesota will look very similar in 2025-26, following an uneventful summer. They did lose a huge part of their second unit in Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Mike Conley is entering his age-38 season after looking like a shell of himself last season. Unless Rob Dillingham or Terrence Shannon make a considerable leap, DiVincenzo seems to be in a great spot to step into a larger role in the backcourt, potentially. With his elite steal rate and solid production from beyond the arc, he has the look of a safe late-round pick with upside for more. Read Past Outlooks
Loaded stat line Sunday
DiVincenzo registered 18 points (7-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists, two blocks and four steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 117-103 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
DiVincenzo posted an impressive stat line in this win Sunday, surpassing the 15-point mark for a second straight game while notching at least two tallies in each of the five major categories. DiVincenzo seems to be locked in as the Timberwolves' starting point guard for the foreseeable future, and that alone gives him a solid floor. However, his ability to fill the stat sheet is also noteworthy from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging 12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks per game since the beginning of December.

DiVincenzo had one of the best seasons of his career during the 2023-24 campaign while featuring in a prominent role for Tom Thibodeau's Knicks. The six-year guard posted career-high marks in several categories, including points (15.5), steals (1.3) and blocks (0.4) while also draining a career-high 40.7 percent from three-point range on 8.7 attempts per contest. The uptick in scoring numbers was directly tied to the fact that key contributors such as Julius Randle and OG Anunoby missed considerable time due to injuries, but either way, DiVincenzo showed he could handle a sizable offensive role. That might not be the case in the 2024-25 campaign. DiVincenzo was sent to the Timberwolves in a surprising trade right before training camp, making that five teams in four years for the Villanova product. In Minnesota, the sharpshooter will likely be a spark plug off the bench. DiVincenzo finished third in the NBA in made three-pointers with 283, so his elite shooting will be an asset to fantasy managers attempting to boost their three-point percentage in roto formats. However, playing behind Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels makes DiVincenzo unlikely to replicate his breakout campaign from last season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Linked to New York
The Knicks could make a move for DiVincenzo, Kris Pursiainen of Clutch Points reports.
ANALYSIS
"New York's interest in a reunion with its Villanova-educated playoff hero dates back to last season, when the team had some internal discussions about re-acquiring DiVincenzo," Pursianinen said. "Bringing the three-point specialist back to Madison Square Garden, where he had a career year, could make sense for both sides." New York has lofty ambitions this season with the Eastern Conference wide open. DiVincenzo would give New York's bench a huge lift, though his fantasy value could take a hit if this scenario comes to fruition.
