2025 Fantasy Outlook
Williams' rookie campaign didn't exactly go to plan. He averaged 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists on 32.3 percent shooting across 21.2 minutes in 50 games (21 starts), failing to generate fantasy appeal for the most part. The Jazz had the worst record in the NBA and were very generous with their minutes to young players, making it even more troubling that he wasn't able to break through. Now entering his second NBA season, things are looking up a bit for the wing. Williams looked much improved at the Summer League, posting averages of 17.1 points on 45.5 percent shooting from the field. The Jazz also cleared up some minutes, as they moved on from John Collins, Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton. Their big splash was the selection of Ace Bailey with the No. 5 overall pick, and the team also brought in Georges Niang and Jusuf Nurkic. Williams will have a chance to win the backup role behind Bailey at small forward, but the Jazz do have the ability to play smaller with someone like Lauri Markkanen at the three for stretches of the game. Despite an improved outlook for Williams, he still has a lot of work to do before managers in standard leagues should look his way. Read Past Outlooks
Four steals versus Wizards
Williams finished with 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block across 30 minutes in Thursday's 92-88 Summer League loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
Williams averaged a career-high 8.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.4 blocks and 0.8 steals over 24.3 minutes in 67 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. Although he had a quiet start to his second season in the NBA, he finished the year by averaging 15.2 points in six regular-season games in April. It's unclear how many more games Williams will play during his time in Las Vegas. However, as it stands currently, it appears he could be even more productive in 2026-27, especially if he gets consistent playing time.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Jazz selected Williams with the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Williams flashed his upside as a playmaker and finisher during his one-and-done season at Colorado, registering per-40-minute averages of 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists. He struggled down the stretch of his freshman season while dealing with injuries, so he'll need to work on being more consistent and expanding his shooting range at the NBA level. In Summer League, Williams averaged 10.7 points and 1.0 threes on 45/26/91 shooting, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.4 steals with 1.4 turnovers in 28.3 minutes. Williams got as much Summer League run as nearly anyone, playing in seven games, but he didn't do a lot with it. Utah's roster isn't particularly good, but it's relatively deep with young players. That means it's not a guarantee that Williams sees significant action right out of the gate despite being a relatively high pick.

ANALYSIS
Williams said he feels stronger and looks stronger, noting that he's eating nearly 5,000 calories a day. It's no secret that he had a letdown of a rookie campaign, but he showed some positive steps during the Summer League. With a strong showing in the preseason, Williams could set himself up for a rotation role on Opening Night.
