2025 Fantasy Outlook
A 6-foot-1 righty whose strike-throwing ability out-grades his stuff, Santos was added to the 40-man roster this offseason and projects to pitch in the Rangers' rotation long term, health permitting. He has three 50- to 55-grade pitches in his fastball, slider and changeup, and Santos has averaged over 100 innings per season since 2022. His 7.3 percent walk rate at Double-A was an excellent mark and portends at least above-average control for Santos long term. He threw 46 innings at Double-A in 2024, so he should spend the bulk of the year at Triple-A, and now that he's on the 40-man roster, he could be heard from in an emergency even if he's not fully developed.
