The side-armer has been limited to 71.1 innings in the majors since making his debut in 2021, but he's been highly successful with a 2.78 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 80:16 K:BB ratio. Effross is an emerging reliever in the league whose return is highly anticipated. He should have a high-leverage role for the Yankees to open 2024 if health prevails this spring.
