Rest-of-Season Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Raley had rotten luck, as he suffered through back spasms and an oblique strain in a year in which T-Mobile Park finally became friendlier to hitters. Those two injuries led to him missing about half the season when you account for games missed due to the platoon disadvantage of facing a lefty. A power hitter is not much of one without a health core, so seeing Raley's on-base percentage higher than his slugging percentage is not the least bit surprising. This is someone who has had 90th percentile max exit velocity each of the past three season along with quality contact and a surprising amount of sprint speed for someone built like he should be playing tight end for the Seahawks. Raley has first base and outfield eligibility for 2026, and he'll likely be back in the outfield with Josh Naylor re-signing with the Mariners. Raley will likely lose plate appearances in a platoon, but there is no obvious right-handed solution on the roster as of early November. Read Past Outlooks
Homers in four-hit game
Raley went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and a second run scored in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Padres.
Analysis
This was Raley's first long ball since he went deep in each of the first three games of the season. He's still made excellent contact lately, going 11-for-17 (.647) over his last four contests. For the season, he's up to a .339/.391/.644 slash line with four homers, 12 RBI, eight runs scored, four doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 17 games. Raley showed some power potential in 2023 and 2024 before regressing last year, but he's never been one to hit for a particularly high average, and his .500 BABIP won't last in the long run.

T-Mobile Park has swallowed up hitters in the past but Raley thrived there during his first season in Seattle, putting up a .901 OPS with 15 of his 22 long balls at home. The left-handed hitting Raley made just two starts versus southpaws all season, but he was a regular against righties and cranked 20 homers off them in just 373 plate appearances. With a career 31 percent strikeout rate, Raley is prone to droughts, and his counting stats will lag as a platoon player who will often be pinch-hit for late in games. That said, Raley does enough in the power and speed department versus righties to make him a handy deep-league option, especially with the added value of multi-position eligibility.

Analysis
Raley's career in Seattle got off to a slow start as he posted a .505 OPS and 30.4 percent strikeout rate in March and April, but his bat has come alive this month. The 29-year-old opened the campaign with a semi-regular spot in the lineup, but he's now started 12 of the past 13 games. Raley has seen most of his action in the corner outfield but also has four starts at first base.
