2026 Fantasy Outlook
Bradish returned with a bang in late August after a year-plus-long recovery from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace, posting a 2.45 FIP over 32 innings. He fanned nine or more in three of his six starts en route to a 37.3 K%, roughly five percentage points higher than his previous career high, while also throwing at least five innings on four occasions. The level of dominance he displayed last season will be difficult to maintain -- no qualified starter had a higher mark than Tarik Skubal's 32.2 K% last season -- but nonetheless the results have been excellent for Bradish for three consecutive seasons now around the missed time. Dating back to the start of the 2023 season, the right-hander has gone 15-8 with a 2.78 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 268:69 K:BB over 240 innings. The fact that he has fallen short of 40 innings the last two seasons is balanced by the justifiable optimism afforded by his arm having a new lease on life. Bradish is expected to have sort of innings limit in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
Mixed results in spring debut
Bradish allowed two runs on three hits and one walk in two innings during Sunday's Grapefruit League game against Detroit. He struck out two.
Analysis
Following a clean first inning, Bradish struggled in the second frame while yielding a pair of runs. The 29-year-old right-hander threw 22 of his 35 pitches for strikes, and his sinker topped out at 95.8 mph. The Orioles are expected to have some form of limitations in place for Bradish in 2026 -- Tommy John surgery has held the righty to 14 starts since 2024 -- and Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com also notes that Bradish is prioritizing his health as opposed to increasing his velocity. Baltimore's plans for his workload could become clearer as spring training progresses.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
2022
Bradish began 2024 on the injured list with elbow issues but was able to make his season debut in early May, though his campaign was short-lived as he made just eight starts before undergoing Tommy John surgery with an internal brace in June. The right-hander pitched well when available with a 2.75 ERA over 39.1 innings, but he'll be sidelined until at least the second half, and he may not pitch at all in 2025. Bradish started up his throwing program in December, but it'll likely be awhile before a more specific recovery timeline comes into focus.

Poised for arbitration hearing
Bradish requested $3.55 million and was offered $2.875 million by the Orioles when arbitration figures were exchanged last week, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis
Bradish's salary will be decided by an independent arbitrator in the coming weeks, presuming the two sides aren't able to come to an agreement before then. The righty missed most of the 2025 season while completing his rehab from Tommy John surgery, but he looked sharp down the stretch for the Orioles after returning, collecting a 2.53 ERA and 47:10 K:BB over 32 innings covering six starts.
