2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Peguero could emerge as one of the next-in-line candidates for saves in San Francisco after pitching reasonably well for the Giants during his first taste of the majors (22.1 innings) last season. The 28-year-old's minor-league track record doesn't jump off the page - through nine seasons he's posted just a 4.73 ERA and 1.50 WHIP - but the right-hander can hit triple-digits on the radar gun and produce plenty of groundballs with his sinker. While Peguero's strikeout and walk rates don't scream "future closer" in the league, bullpen roles in San Francisco appear to be wide open. A strong spring and continued success for Peguero could result in more opportunities in 2026, but improving his command will only increase his chances for a high-leverage role. Read Past Outlooks
