2026 Fantasy Outlook
Misiorowski was called up by the Brewers in June and posted a 2.81 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 33:11 K:BB in his first five MLB starts, which was enough to get him to the All-Star game as a controversial replacement. The rest of the right-hander's rookie campaign wasn't quite so rosy, as he finished the regular season with a 4.36 ERA across 66 innings. However, Misiorowski put his best foot forward in the playoffs with just two earned runs allowed in three outings, as he showcased his potential on the big stage. Milwaukee was cautious with the flamethrower's workload (he threw more than five innings just three times in 18 MLB appearances, including the playoffs), but he still totaled 141.1 frames between Triple-A and the majors. That sets up Misiorowski for a solid starter's workload in 2026, though the Brewers still aren't likely to fully cut him loose. Despite the minor volume concerns, Misiorowski's strikeout potential (11.9 K/9) makes him a valuable fantasy commodity, though there's also some potential volatility given his lack of MLB track record and history of walks in the minors. The right-hander had a 4.2 BB/9 during his rookie campaign (compared to a 5.4 mark during his minor-league career), which if he can maintain, should allow him to be successful at the MLB level given his elite stuff. Let down by bullpen
Misiorowski did not factor into the decision in the Brewers' 9-7 extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays. He allowed two runs on five hits while striking out five across 5.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.
Analysis
Misiorowski allowed just two baserunners over the first four innings before giving up home runs to Andres Gimenez and Daulton Varsho in the fifth and sixth, respectively. Misiorowski was still in line for the win despite the two long balls, but he came away with the no-decision after the Brewers' bullpen gave up seven runs, including three in each of the ninth and 10th frames. The 24-year-old right-hander has yet to give up more than three earned runs in a start this season (four starts), and he leads the majors with 33 strikeouts (across 21.2 innings). Misiorowski is slated to start this weekend on the road against the Marlins.

It remains an open question as to whether Misiorowski will ever throw enough strikes to be a big-league starter. The 6-foot-7 righty's stuff is not in question, particularly his upper-90s fastball and devastating slider, both of which are 70-grade pitches at their best. Misiorowski logged a 3.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 105 strikeouts and 50 walks in 79.2 innings across 19 starts at Double-A before he worked primarily as a reliever over 17.2 innings at Triple-A to close the year. If Milwaukee thought Misiorowski was ready to be a major postseason weapon, he likely would have been added to the 40-man roster in September, but that move was never made. He actually made progress last season at Double-A, as he had eight starts with three or more walks in his first 10 starts and two starts with three or more walks in his next nine starts -- his only two 10-strikeout starts also came in that June/July run of improvement. Misiorowski still has a faint chance of making it as a rare starter who is good for 200-plus strikeouts per year, but a future in high-leverage bullpen situations is probably more likely at this point.

Extension talks not progressing
The extension talks between Misiorowski and the Brewers have yet to gain traction, according to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Analysis
The Brewers have made the long-term signing of Misiorowski a priority, but talks between the two parties haven't progressed much. Hogg even mentioned that those talks "have not occurred with any real momentum yet," so it's uncertain whether there will be an agreement anytime soon. Misiorowski made the 2025 All-Star Game as a rookie, and even though he endured some regression in the second half of the campaign, he still posted a 4.36 ERA across 66 regular-season innings.
