2026 Fantasy Outlook
Enns' start with the Tigers against the Athletics on June 26 marked his first major-league appearance since 2021 after the veteran southpaw spent time in Japan and Korea, followed by a stint in the minors. He moved between the Tigers' rotation and bullpen before being dealt to the Orioles in late July and served primarily in a relief role with Baltimore. He finished the 2025 season with a 4.08 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, two saves, four holds and a 49:15 K:BB across 46.1 innings, and he would've ranked near the top of the majors in chase rate (32.7 percent) and barrel rate (4.4 percent) had he qualified. Ryan Helsley figures to be the Orioles' closer for 2026 due to Felix Bautista being shelved for most of the season with a right shoulder injury, but Enns could work his way into a high-leverage or long-relief role out of the bullpen, which would give him fantasy value for holds and the occasional opportunity for saves and wins. 2017 Fantasy Outlook
Enns was impressive for the Yankees both at Double-A and Triple-A in 2016, earning a spot on the 40-man roster this offseason. The 24-year-old's performance only improved after he was promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, as Enns would go on to post an impressive 1.52 ERA in 65 innings with the top affiliate. However, while Enns' ERA went down from Double- to Triple-A, so did his K/9, which dipped from 9.5 to 6.9. Much of his success in 2016 can be attributed to his ability to keep the ball in the park -- he had HR/9 rates of 0.39 and 0.42 in Double-A and Triple-A, respectively, despite just a 0.71 GB/FB overall. Enns will likely begin 2017 back in Triple-A as he looks to continue proving himself against advanced competition, but he could get a look as a spot-starter or if there are several injuries in the big-league rotation.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Entering starting rotation
Enns is replacing Chris Archer (hip) in the rotation and will likely start Thursday against the Tigers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Analysis
The lefty has made six relief appearances this season, posting a 3.38 ERA and 19:5 K:BB in 16 innings. Enns has started 11 games for Triple-A Durham, so the new role won't be entirely unfamiliar. It's unclear at this time how long Archer will be sidelined, but Enns should occupy the fifth rotation spot until Archer returns, as long as he pitches well enough.
