Darlin Saladin

Saladin had a 1.95 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 62 strikeouts in 60 innings across 11 appearances for Single-A Palm Beach before getting promoted to High-A on June 24. Saladin had a FIP under 2.75 and a K-BB% over 19 percent at both stops, so it was a fantastic season for the 21-year-old righty. He is undersized at 5-foot-11, but Saladin built up to 123 innings this year and should spend most of next year working as a starter in the upper levels. His low-90s fastball has excellent shape and movement characteristics, while his secondaries lag behind.
