2026 Fantasy Outlook
Freeman put on a show in Triple-A Round Rock hitting .336/.382/.549 with single-digit walk and strikeout rates along with 19 homers and 8 steals. That earned him a promotion to Texas, wher only the single digit walk rate stuck. Freeman is an extremely high contact hitter who uses all fields in his approach and could push for a reserve infield role now that Josh Smith has been elevated on the depth chart with the departure of Marcus Semien this winter and Ezequiel Duran is falling off a cliff at the plate. Freeman is someone to watch in camp for AL-Only fantasy managers with deeper benches. Read Past Outlooks
