Call didn't make his major-league debut until he was a ripe 27 years of age, so he'll be 31 at the beginning of his fifth campaign in 2026. The outfielder managed to hold down a big-league roster spot for an entire season for the first time last year, and he posted a tolerable .746 OPS with five home runs, 31 RBI and two steals over 322 plate appearances between Washington and Los Angeles. Call offers little in the way of power, but he has good contact skills (he posted a 17.1 percent strikeout rate and 11.8 percent walk rate last season) and is generally a good defender. That skill set screams fourth outfielder, and that will likely be Call's role again in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
