Dylan Crews was the Nationals prospect getting most of the hype last winter, but Lile is the one who captured headlines in-season, slashing .299/.347/.498 with nine homers and eight steals across 351 plate appearances. Called up in late May, Lile was optioned shortly thereafter before returning for good in mid-June. Eventually, Lile carved out regular starts between left field, right field and DH, showcasing good contact skills to go along with his pop from the left side of the plate. New manager Blake Butera would be justified in throwing up the red light given that Lile was caught stealing six times in 14 attempts as a rookie, though Lile has the speed to improve his efficiency. While he did not grade well on defense, Washington is rebuilding and creating at-bats for Lile should be a priority after what he showed at the age of 22. Read Past Outlooks
